Install Static Cling

6
These instructions list the tools and steps you'll need to know how to apply Static Cling Window Graphics on the inside or outside of your window. Following the guidelines will ensure that your window cling will last for a very long time, continuing to look extraordinary:
  • Static Cling can be applied to dry or wet surfaces.
  • Medium to Large Size Static Cling should be applied wet and with the backing still on.
  • Small static clings, such as two-inch square decals may be applied on dry, clean surfaces.
Get ready to start:
  1. Two people; one to hold the graphics and one to apply them to the glass surface.
  2. Squeegee
  3. Water
Wet Application:
  1. Clean the area of your window upon which you will be applying the Cling.
  2. Wet the surface of the Cling that you will be applying to the glass.
  3. DO NOT REMOVE THE BACK LINER.
  4. Take the entire Static Cling, back liner included, and smooth the Cling side to the glass.
  5. The back liner should still be attached and facing you and the Cling surface should be sticking to the glass.
  6. Using your squeegee, start from the middle of the back liner and smooth both back liner and Static Cling onto the window.
  7. Smooth the Static Cling and back liner from the middle to the edges, dispersing bubbles and water.
  8. When finished, you can keep the back liner behind the static cling for additional stability or peel it off.
