ACM Metal is created with a three-layer sandwich panel consisting of two pre-painted .015mm aluminum sheets bonded to a black polyethylene (PE) core, giving it a total thickness of 0.125 inches. These layers make ACM Metal stronger than standard aluminum and ensure it remains flat after installation, even in extreme temperatures.

2-Sided

With the 2-Sided option, designs will be printed on both sides of the strong materials with a build in block out feature to ensure durability and full opacity blocking the design from seeing through from other side. For 2 sided banners, we use 18 oz heavy weighted vinyl. Keep in mind: If the design contains an arrow element, be aware the front and back must have different files with the arrow flipped to show opposite arrows in each file.

Reflective

Reflective option is produced an engineer-grade 3M vinyl film with 7 mil thickness. When light hits the material, it reflects, drawing attention to your sign. Great for advertising at night. The most important thing to know is that the entire white film we print on is coated with reflective elements. That means that as more ink is printed on your piece, it becomes less reflective.

Tip: Light colors typically work best. You’ll want to stay away from full-image backgrounds and lots of dark tones. White space is your friend and will ensure your final piece is as reflective as possible.

Rounded Corners

Rounded Corners is an option available for business cards and aluminum signs. With the Rounded Corners option, each corner is rounded with a smooth finish. I placed an order for 3 real estate yard signs and the process with Carter went smoothly. The order arrived and upon opening my order I found the real estate signs were not double sided. The backside was white. Original order on website was double sided. I immediately called Carter, the service rep who had taken my original order, explained the issue, he responded he would pass the issue to the Design Dept and assured me they would call me back. After discussions with customer service they agreed to rectify the problem and offered me an amicable solution. I was satisfied and look forward to working with them in the future for my advertising needs.

We needed a very small custom sign and I was not successful in locating what I needed online at Signazon.com or at other competitors websites but I received an email from an associate as soon as I left Signazon.com. I tried all the other sites and signazon was the easiest for me to use. I could pick every thing I wanted in a sign and they helped me when I had 2 specific colors that I just could not match up with the color wheel. I mailed the samples of the colors and they matched them perfectly. Then I tried to price match the cost in my area and signazon beat the competition comparing apples to apples.The only thing I wish I could have done is shadow the letters on my sign with black edge to make them stand out better. Great service.

What thickness is best for my aluminum metal sign?

The specific option you choose for aluminum sign thickness depends on how you plan to use the sign, and for how long. They are also very lightweight, making them a great choice for displaying anywhere that you need signage.

If you plan to use a sign for more than about three years, consider the thicker aluminum signs. The solid core makes these strong and more durable so you won’t need to worry about damage over time. When properly installed, a 0.125 aluminum ACM sign can last for several decades.

Can aluminum yard signs be used as lawn signs for my business?
