Strongest 13 oz with 1000 x 1000 high tenacity yarn construction that makes it stands up to the harsh outdoor conditions. This high-quality polyester scrim vinyl banner provides excellent image quality and vibrant color.

With thickness of 13 oz./yd.2 (0.14”), this medium weight banner material is highly durable, tear- and fade-resistant, resists curling.

Matte Vinyl Banner

Excellent Image Quality

Designed for in-store display and indoor events, this matte banner is top coated with a specially formulated matte finishing to reduces glare caused by camera flashes and fluorescent bulbs. For safety, it is fire-retardant and meets NFPA701 code.

Matte vinyl banner produces consistent image quality and optimal color reproduction to bring out the most vibrant color. You can count on it to present dazzling printed designs under the spotlight.

Understanding Vinyl Banner

Options

2-Sided

With the 2-Sided option, designs will be printed on both sides of the strong materials with a build in block out feature to ensure durability and full opacity blocking the design from seeing through from other side. For 2 sided banners, we use 18 oz heavy weighted vinyl. Keep in mind: If the design contains an arrow element, be aware the front and back must have different files with the arrow flipped to show opposite arrows in each file.

Grommets

Grommets are the most common way to display a banner. One can used with zip ties, ropes, & bungee cords. Our silver nickel grommets are in each corner and every 2-3 feet along the top and bottom edges. The placement distributes the weight of the banner evenly and keeps it from sagging. The size #2 grommets have inner diameter of 0.5 inch, and the outer of 0.75 inch. To avoid any text or images from being punched off, best practice is to keep the design away from 1 inch edges.

Reinforced Edges

When displaying a Banner outdoors, wind will cause more wear and tear as it tugs and pulls on the Banner’s attached bungees or fixtures. For 2X the durability, we offer reinforced edges to absorb most of the pressure. It will add 1” of extra material to the top and bottom edges, which we fold over, and then hem them to create strong, finished edges.

Webbing

Reinforced webbing is 3X stronger by sewing cross-stitched 1 inch nylon strip inside of the reinforced edges. It is commonly used on large banners for maximum strength and durability. The grommets will penetrate through 2 layers of vinyl and 1 additional layer of webbing, which greatly reduces the risk of the grommets tearing out in wind.

Indoor & Outdoor Vinyl Banner Solutions

Signazon prints banners for both indoor and outdoor use. Indoor banners are a lightweight 13 oz vinyl that is easy to hang anywhere. Since they don’t need to have the same weather resistance, they are a more affordable choice for banners that will be inside a building. Outdoor banners included a strong and durable reinforced edge so it can hold up even in strong wind and other inclement weather.

Our custom banners are prepared for outdoor display with:

Reinforced edges protect against tearing at the spot where you secure the banner with rope, zip ties, or other fasteners
Reinforced webbing strengthens your vinyl banner by adding 1-inch cross-stitched nylon strips inside the reinforced edges. This is essential for very large banners to protect the strength and durability, and strengthens the area around the grommets to significantly reduce the chance of tearing from wind.
Grommets (metal finishes) around the holes ensure that your fasteners won’t tear the banner in a place where it’s more vulnerable.
High-quality printing that is bright and crisp to display your message.
Super smooth block-out vinyl with strengthening fibers for added wind resistance and durability.
Two-sided printing so it’s visible from every angle outside your business and you can display multiple messages. We use a heavier 18 oz vinyl for two-sided banners.

What type of files will you accept?

We recommend vector-based .PDF design files. Most major design applications can generate a print-ready .PDF by using the Save As feature and selecting “Adobe PDF.” If you are unable to obtain a .PDF file for your design, the best are those in .EPS or .AI (CS3 or higher) format with all text converted to outlines.

After being evacuated from their homes for nearly a month following Superstorm Sandy, it was announced that residents of one of our managed properties in Lower Manhattan would be allowed to return home. On a Friday, and with only one day's notice, I contacted Signazon to have a large, custom "Welcome Home" banner made that included the building's intricate logo. I was amazed at how helpful Sean Fitzgerald was throughout the process. He was efficient, thorough and quick to return phone calls and follow up. He even provided his personal cell phone number in the event there was any issue with the Saturday delivery. Sean managed to get the banner produced and delivered to our property overnight. The online design tool was fairly easy to use. I did have one question and tried to communicate via chat, but it was after office hours, so I didn't ever hear from anyone and figured out the answer myself. The product was delivered on the first day of their completion window. I ordered a banner like one I had ordered from them before. The quality of the plastic seems to be a little less than my order 4 years ago - a little less pliable and heavy duty. The print/paint scratches off of it pretty easily. Printing was good and product is what I ordered. I would use them again.

My experience with Signazon.com was positive. The online design tool was easy to use. My banner was ready within the time that was expected. The banner looked very nice. The only drawback was that the banner wasn't placed in any kind of protective wrap/bag/box for transportation from the Signazon.com facility.

Yesterday I had never heard of this company, but after using google in search of a finding a 30 year anniversary banner, I came across their name. I decided to give it a try. This year our company is celebrating our 30 year anniversary and we have this fantastic boss who is always doing for others, so we decided to surprise her with the banners. It did not take but just a few minutes to design our own personalized banner for our company. Our order was placed around 11:20am yesterday morning. What size banners does Signazon make?

We offer completely customizable banners, which means you can get them in any size you want. The most popular banner sizes, often called standard sizes, are (measured in feet, height x width):

Additionally, we can make whatever size you need and provide quick and easy pricing so you can see exactly what your banner will cost to make sure it fits into your budget. Use our tool to specify the exact height and width (in inches) for your banner and we will print whatever size you need. You’re never stuck with a “cookie-cutter” vinyl banner size when you order from Signazon.

Do I need grommets on my banner?

If you are planning to use it as an outdoor banner—for example, a business banner, graduation banner, or other similar display—you definitely want grommets. These small metal rings go around the holes on the edges that you will use to secure the banner. They reinforce the vinyl with metal, making it far more durable and better able to withstand inclement weather like wind, rain, and snow.

How is reinforced webbing different from reinforced edges?

Both reinforced webbing and reinforced edges on your banner are designed to protect it from ripping or getting damaged when you display it outdoors, or for very large banners and heavy banners.

Reinforced edges are made using additional vinyl material on the outside of the banner, folding it over and heat-sealing it. Reinforced webbing is a sewn-in material made of extremely strong and durable fibers that are cross-stitched to prevent ripping. By adding these to the edges of the banner you have another layer of protection against wind and weather that could rip the banner. We highly recommend using both reinforced webbing and edges, along with grommets, for banners that will be displayed outdoors.

Are your banners fireproof?

All of our banners are made from a fire-retardant vinyl that meets NFPA701 codes.

What types of banner finishes do you have?

You can choose from either a gloss finish or a matte finish. Gloss finishes offer an extra vibrant color with a shiny look and feel. Matte printing offers the same high quality images without the “glare”. Matte finishes work better for banners that will be displayed in direct indoor lights or in bright sunlight (where gloss would create a glare and make it hard to read). Glossy finishes are also more likely to show smudges or fingerprints, so consider matte if it’s in an area where it’s in reach for people to touch it or where it might attract a lot of dirt.

Can you help me with design?

We definitely can! Our helpful customer service team is available to assist you with creating and uploading your own design. We also have tons of pre-designed templates to create the exact look you want without being a professional designer. Start with the template that has the colors, fonts, and look that you want, then add your own text and logo to make it your own.

Do you print two-sided vinyl banners?

Yes, our banners are available in single-sided and double-sided printing. Select a double-sided banner and upload two separate designs, one for the front and one for the back.

Do you sell graduation banners?

Yes, any of our banners can be custom designed to celebrate milestones like birthdays and graduations.
