Materials: Which one is best for my sign?

1. Corrugated Plastic
The term corrugated plastic refers to a wide range of extruded twin wall plastic sheet products produced from high impact polypropylene resin with a similar make up to corrugated fiberboard.
Advantages:

  • Light-weight, tough material
  • Performs extremely well under adverse weather conditions
  • Recyclable and therefore considered by many to be environmentally friendly.

BEST FOR: Yard signs, Political campaign signs, and Golf tournament signs

2. Magnetics
Full magnetic backing mounts easily on any steel surface, such as filing cabinets, cars and other machinery as a full-sized sign or magnetic bumper sticker. Signs are cut and printed with any logo/text.
BEST FOR: Business Magnetic signs, Real Estate Magnetic signs, or Political Magnetic Signs for cars, trucks and vans.

3. Vinyl Banners

The weight of our banner substrate is 13 ounces per square yard. Grommets are included in order to facilitate hanging of the banner. Since vinyl banners are very flexible, as well as portable, you can see them everywhere. BEST FOR: Event banners, Trade Show banners, and Stadium banners.

4. Aluminum

Aluminum is a soft, lightweight, malleable metal with appearance ranging from silvery to dull gray, depending on the surface roughness.

The Advantage:
  • Nontoxic, nonmagnetic, and non-sparking
  • Remarkable for its ability to resist corrosion and its light weight.
BEST FOR: OSHA Signs, Security signs, property signs, Traffic signs, Street signs , Parking Signs and Directional signs.

5. Reflective Aluminum

Reflective aluminum or "lighting sheet" has a mirror like surface and is made from high purity aluminum with specific photometric qualities to control light. When placed behind any light source, lighting sheet specifically reflects and directs the light – just like a glass mirror.

BEST FOR: Street signs, Traffic signs, Parking Signs and property signs.

6. Adhesive Vinyl

Vinyl Lettering is ready-to-apply, self-adhesive lettering that can be applied to almost any smooth surface. After the lettering is applied, the vinyl letters will appear to have been painted on and usually last much longer than paint.

BEST FOR: Vinyl boat lettering, Vinyl car lettering, and Vinyl window lettering.

7. Foam Core Board

Foam core board is a strong, lightweight and easily cut material which consists of three layers — an extruded Polystyrene foam board between two sheets of white clay coated paper.

The Advantage:
  • Excellent reputation for great performance.
  • Clay-coated for an extra-smooth surface and dual-sided with bright white surfaces.
  • A built-in memory which allows it to return to its original thickness after cutting.
BEST FOR: Oversized checks, Mount pictures, posters or presentations, Indoor Signage and Advertisement.
