3mm PVC

Sturdy & Affordable

The most-popular material for oversized checks. Bright white Sintra is a lightweight, yet rigid PVC extruded in a homogenous sheet. Similar to 6mm PVC, but thinner and more affordable.

Features—Thickness: 3mm (0.125”). Great with Dry Erase option.

Best For—Professional check presentations, multi-use presentation checks.

Gator Board 3/16”

Sturdy & Long-Lasting

A lightweight, rigid substrate made of a polystyrene foam core bonded between two layers of polystyrene plastic. Similar to ½” Gator Board, but thinner and more affordable.

Features—Thickness: 3/16” (5mm). Has a matte finish that will prevent glare in photographs. Dent- and scratch-resistant. Select the “Black” option for a more professional look.

Best For—Point-of-purchase and exhibit displays with medium-term applications, long-term framed signage.

Understanding Menu Board

Options

2-Sided

With the 2-Sided option, designs will be printed on both sides of the strong materials with a build in block out feature to ensure durability and full opacity blocking the design from seeing through from other side.

For 2 sided banners, we use 18 oz heavy weighted vinyl.

Keep in mind: If the design contains an arrow element, be aware the front and back must have different files with the arrow flipped to show opposite arrows in each file.

Black

The Black option is great for Foam Board. For a professional look, we use a black polystyrene foam core covered with clay-coated black paper on one side and glossy vinyl decal film material on the other. Your image will be printed on the side with the vinyl decal film.

All cut lines should be 1pt (.0156”) strokes with the Spot Color named of “SHAPECUT”.

Dry Erase

With the Dry Erase option, your oversized check or yard sign is laminated with a 2.0 mil, clear polypropylene film. This laminate allows you to write on your sign with a standard dry erase marker just like a dry erase board. Leave blank spaces in your design (i.e. for checks, Date, Payable To, Dollar Amount, etc.), so you can reuse it over and over again.

Grommets: Top Corners

The Grommets option places #2 silver nickel grommets in the top corners of the sign.

Tip: To avoid being cut off, please design away from the 1 inch of outer edges.

Rounded Corners
