Single Color for Window
15 Color Choices

Big window lettering is the favorite choice of modern minimalists. Single color refers to the entire logo and text for each design will be in one solid color, and you have 15 colors to choose from.

White Color is always the most popular for its superior readability nature. Black color on the window is a bad idea, since it blends into the glass. This makes it impossible to read.

The 4-mil bright color vinyl sheet is made for High Durability and Strong UV Resistance. It is cut precisely to your design by high precision machineries. All extra vinyl in between each stroke will be removed to match your design with No Background.  And we apply the transfer tape on top to make your DIY installation easy.

White Vinyl
Glossy, Vibrant Color

The most affordable advertising solution with a stunning gloss finish. Standard Vinyl Decal Film is back-adhesive (applied on the outside of the window).

Features—Thickness: 3.4 mil. Full-color, printing on white material.

Best For—More permanent advertising in high-visibility store fronts and offices, storefront window displays, office etc.

Inside Glass

Adding the Inside Glass option means that your decal will be produced with front adhesive, so that your sign can be applied inside the window facing out.

This option helps protect decals from harsh weather conditions and vandalism. For highly reflective glass, or store fronts with tint we recommend to place printed materials on the outside of the window to achieve full vibrancy.

Say More with Vinyl Lettering in Your Business Windows

The windows on the exterior of your business are one of the most valuable advertising spaces you have. Millions of people pass by your store every day. Beautiful and professional vinyl lettering in your windows lets current and potential customers know why they should come inside.   Signazon offers custom vinyl lettering in a wide variety of printed sizes for all your business needs. Our simple printing process means you can create a beautiful design, we’ll print it and ship it out quickly, and you simply stick it on the windows. You can do just lettering, or combine our window clings with custom vinyl window decals to make your graphics pop.

Inform Customers

What do you need your customers to know? Custom vinyl lettering can help you get the message out. Lettering is ideal for:

  • Store hours
  • Business name (especially in a retail space or office building with multiple companies)
  • Names on doors of individuals or executives within your office
  • Health and safety guidelines (such as emergency exit doors)

These signs are more professional than handwritten or printed signs. They can be installed in areas where they are permanent (such as on a window in front of your building) or in temporary locations. You can also attach vinyl lettering to other display surfaces that you can put up or take down as needed.

Increase Sales

Window decals and vinyl lettering are the perfect way to reach your existing customers, and advertise your business to new customers. There are few places in your business as valuable as your building exterior, but most businesses have limitations on the size and style of exterior signage (especially in a building you lease and do not own). Text-based vinyl lettering—with or without vinyl graphic decals—is a clean, modern way to make use of window and door surfaces that won’t block out all the natural light. It will grab the attention of passersby too, which can increase your sales with current and future customers.

Augment Existing Signs

Sometimes you need to add more clarity or information to your signage. If you don’t want to pay to have all your signs redone, or you only have a message that you need to convey temporarily, vinyl window letters are the perfect way to enhance your other messaging.   These letters are completely customizable, so you can create them to fit into smaller spaces where traditional signs won’t work. You can also print them in special colors that might only be temporary (for things like seasonal sales) that diverge from traditional brand colors and would not make sense on permanent signs. Vinyl letters are also great for buildings that don’t have space for larger vinyl banners on or around the building, or in areas where zoning or landlord restrictions won’t allow you to put up yard signs and banners.

Installation & Care

Signazon makes it easy to get beautiful window stickers for all types of businesses. Our simple, ready-to-install decals are self-adhesive and require only limited tools to install. We recommend installing vinyl lettering on a day when outside temperatures are over 65 degrees with low humidity for best results.

You will need the following tools

  • Glass cleaner
  • Paper towels
  • Masking tape
  • Squeegee
  • X-ACTO® knife, other precision blade, or scissors Level
Make sure you are working on a clean, dry glass surface. Do not install vinyl lettering on a wet surface.

Vinyl letters arrive with three layers:

  • Top layer is a masking tape that holds them in place for easy installation
  • Middle layer is the actual printed letters that will remain on your window
  • Bottom layer is white wax to protect the letters and adhesive
It’s important to keep all three layers intact until you’re ready to stick the vinyl to the window or wall. Do not remove any layers before final installation.   Once you stick vinyl lettering to the wall it cannot be removed, so measure the area carefully and mark the spot where you want to display it with something you can remove.

Tips from Installation Pro

mark the opposite side of the window (the side you are not installing vinyl lettering on) with a removable marker to make sure you get it on straight, then you can erase the markings once it’s installed. Double check that the words are level using a laser or other construction leveler before you do the final installation.   After installation if you notice small air bubbles, push them gently but firmly toward the edges using a squeegee. For stubborn air bubbles, poke a small hole with an X-ACTO® knife and gently press the edges to the window to stick.   Do not use cleaning products on your windows for one week until the letters are completely cured.

Store Window Lettering File Preparation

Design Guidelines

Have a design file ready for print? We recommend that you review the following guidelines before placing your order.
Total File Size With Bleed (H x W):
Finished Product Size (H x W):
Understanding File Setup
Bleed Area Add 0.125in.
Extend your background to fill the full "bleed area." This will make sure you do not end up with white edges when your product is cut.
Finished Project Size What you selected on this page
This is where we aim to cut your final product size.
Safe Zone Inset 0.125in.
Keep all of the important elements of your design-text, logo, icons-inside this area. It's okay for backgrounds and images to run all the way to the bleed area.
What type of files will you accept?
We recommend vector-based .PDF design files. Most major design applications can generate a print-ready .PDF by using the Save As feature and selecting “Adobe PDF.” If you are unable to obtain a .PDF file for your design, the best are those in .EPS or .AI (CS3 or higher) format with all text converted to outlines.
Recommended file types:
Vector-based .PDF, .PS, .PSD, or .EPS. Vector-based Adobe Illustrator .AI
Other accepted file types:
.PNG, .TIF, . BMP, .GIF, or .JPG

I was looking around for a new sign lettering company. I had been with Build-a-Sign for over 15 years. They completely changed their formatting and I could no longer get the signs I had used for years. I looked at several but signazon seemed to have the easiest formatting to use. So, hope all goes well and hope to be with them for years.

Store Window Lettering FAQs

What type of vinyl do you use for printing vinyl lettering?

Signazon uses 2.5 mil thick single-colored Intermediate Calendered Vinyl Film for lettering. When installed properly, it can last up to 5 years.

Can I install vinyl lettering myself or do I need a professional to help?

The cut out letters we send will include transfer tape for easy DIY installation. It’s important to follow the instructions carefully.

Can you print custom graphics and text-based vinyl letters to go together?

Yes, we offer both printed vinyl decals and cut only vinyl lettering. They are 2 different products. We recommend die-cut decals for printed logos and other items that are graphics-based. These can be displayed in your windows alongside vinyl lettering for a beautiful custom look and the exact message you want to send.

Is vinyl lettering in different colors besides just white?

We have a wide variety of colors available and can cut out vinyl lettering in any single color that you want, including white. Our custom design tool allows you to select the exact color to meet your needs.

How do you stick vinyl letters to a window or wall?

Getting vinyl letters installed is a simple process that requires only a few basic tools. However, it does require precision. Once you stick vinyl letters to a window or a wall you cannot take it down and reuse again.

Does vinyl lettering go on the outside or inside of a window?

Vinyl lettering can be applied  either on outside or inside of the glass window. When you’re creating the design, be sure you know which side it will go on so you can print it correctly. Lettering installed on the inside of your windows that you want to display a message outside will be mirrored so it’s readable from the other side.
