Our Heavy-Duty Steel Outdoor Banner Frame is built for businesses & churchs that need a banner display they can put up, take down, and reuse season after season.

  • Wind-ready. 1.25" galvanized steel tubing with 90-degree elbow connectors resists rust, holds shape in weather that bends lightweight aluminum, and locks into the ground with two driven sleeves.
  • Three Frame sizes: 5'×4', 5'×6', or 5'×8' frames support banner heights from 2 to 4 feet, width from 4 to 8 feet.

See the 4-step setup photos below — from what's included to how the ground sleeves stay buried between uses.

01
Mesh Banner
Significantly Reduce Wind Load

A Mesh Banner is a superior choice to combat the wind when compared to traditional wind slits. Wind slits weaken the banner's initial integrity and can lead to ripping or fraying, negating the overall durability of the banner.

Our Mesh Banner is an 8 oz. top coated and made from high-quality polyester scrim to reduce high wind forces.

It has slit-like tiny holes supported by crisscrossed fibers to allow 37% air flow and enhanced image quality, which is perfect for viewing small text and fine details from afar, like when you have event graphics displayed on protective barricades.

02
Gloss Vinyl Banner
Build for Extreme Weather

Strongest 13 oz with 1000 x 1000 high tenacity yarn construction that makes it stands up to the harsh outdoor conditions. This high-quality polyester scrim vinyl banner provides excellent image quality and vibrant color.

With thickness of 13 oz./yd.2 (0.14”), this medium weight banner material is highly durable, tear- and fade-resistant, resists curling.

When displayed outdoor, with glossy coating on top of smooth surface, our professional looking gloss vinyl banners give you the power to go above and beyond your vision.

Options
2-Sided

With the 2-Sided option, designs will be printed on both sides of the strong materials with a build in block out feature to ensure durability and full opacity blocking the design from seeing through from other side.

For 2 sided banners, we use 18 oz heavy weighted vinyl

Keep in mind: If the design contains an arrow element, be aware the front and back must have different files with the arrow flipped to show opposite arrows in each file.

Grommets
Grommets are the most common way to display a banner. One can used with zip ties, ropes, & bungee cords. Our silver nickel grommets are in each corner and every 2-3 feet along the top and bottom edges. The placement distributes the weight of the banner evenly and keeps it from sagging. The size #2 grommets have inner diameter of 0.5 inch, and the outer of 0.75 inch.  To avoid any text or images from being punched off, best practice is to keep the design away from 1 inch edges
Reinforced Edges
When displaying a Banner outdoors, wind will cause more wear and tear as it tugs and pulls on the Banner’s attached bungees or fixtures.

For 2X the durability, we offer reinforced edges to absorb most of the pressure. It will add 1” of extra material to the top and bottom edges, which we fold over, and then hem them to create strong, finished edges.

For 2-sided banners with reinforced edges: the folded edges require a 2-inch solid color safe zone along the top and bottom. No gradients, images, or text in this area. See FAQ for details.

Outdoor Banner Frame Setup
In 4 Steps

01 Whats Included
01 Whats Included
Each frame ships with everything you need: 2 vertical steel leg poles, 1 Steel top pole, 2 ninety-degree elbow connectors, 2 ground sleeves (10" tall, 1.5" diameter)with eye-bolt locks, and 5–6 banner bungees. All steel tubing is galvanized for outdoor weather resistance.
02 Lock Into Ground
02 Lock Into Ground

Drive both ground sleeves straight into the soil at your banners exact width apart, then pack dirt or sand around the base for a rock-solid hold. Slide the assembled vertical leg tube down into the sleeve, and hand-tighten the eye-bolt on the side of the sleeve to lock the tube in place.

  • 5'×4' (H x W) frame → fits 2'×4', 3'×4', or 4'×4' banners
  • 5'×6' frame → fits 2'×6', 3'×6', or 4'×6' banners
  • 5'×8' frame → fits 2'×8', 3'×8', or 4'×8' banners

When you don't need the banner up, just loosen the eye-bolt and lift the entire frame straight out — banner, bungees, tubes, and all. The ground sleeves stay buried with the grass, ready for next time.

Pop the frame back in whenever you need it, or dig the sleeves out completely if you want to relocate. Permanent when you want it, removable when you don't.

Outdoor Banner Frames — Built For Reuse, Sized For Every Banner

Our Outdoor Banner Frames make displaying a custom banner outdoors fast and tool-free. They're built for grand opening events, churches, schools, apartments, fairs, and real estate — anywhere you have soft ground and a message worth showing. The legs come with ground sleeves that drive into the dirt for a stable mount, and at 15 pounds each, the frame stays planted in wind that topples lighter signs. Banner bungees are included to secure your banner to the frame through the grommets — no zip ties, no flapping edges.

Outdoor Banner Frames pair with custom mesh banners or gloss vinyl banners. Order your banner and frame together to save instantly. Note: for vinyl banners, select the "Reinforced Edges" option before checkout to upgrade to weather-grade vinyl built for sun and rain.

Shipping & Delivery

Outdoor Banner Frames ship knocked-down in a single 61" × 6" × 6" box weighing approximately 15 pounds. Because of the length, the frame ships as an oversized parcel & calculated at checkout based on your zip code.

If you order a frame and banner together, the two ship separately and may arrive on different days. The banner ships rolled from our print facility; the frame ships from our hardware warehouse. Both typically arrive within the same week.

Design Guidelines

Have a design file ready for print? We recommend that you review the following guidelines before placing your order.
Total File Size With Bleed (H x W):
Finished Product Size (H x W):
Understanding File Setup
Bleed Area Add 0.125in.

Finished Project Size What you selected on this page
This is where we aim to cut your final product size.

Keep all of the important elements of your design-text, logo, icons-inside this area. It's okay for backgrounds and images to run all the way to the bleed area.
What type of files will you accept?

Most major design applications can generate a print-ready .PDF by using the Save As feature and selecting “Adobe PDF.” If you are unable to obtain a .PDF file for your design, the best are those in .EPS or .AI (CS3 or higher) format with all text converted to outlines.

In Ground Banner Frame
FAQs

Can the outdoor banner frame be removed or taken down when not in use?

Yes — the entire banner frame breaks down for storage. Unhook the bungee cords, fold or roll the banner for flat storage, slide the leg tubes apart at the connector joints, and pack everything into a storage bin. The whole takedown takes a few minutes by hand with no tools.

Only the two ground sleeves stay in place. When you're ready to display again, reassemble the tubing, drop it into the anchors, and tighten the eye-bolt.

The frame doesn't have to stay up permanently? Need to move locations? Pry the anchors out of the soil and reinstall easily.
