Answer
Static-Cling material can attach to the inside of the window facing out. However, if you are going to use Static-Cling on your rear window, we recommend the following:
1.
Use CLEAR Static-Cling. Solid Static-Cling has an opaque white background and would not be see-through, limiting the driver's view.
2.
Not using it on windows that are tinted. Most vehicle windows have tinting which can make the images impossible to see if a decal in placed inside the window. Clear Static-Cling isn’t as bright as Solid Static-Cling or One-Way Vision Film. If it is applied on the inside of a heavily-tinted window, it isn’t likely that you will be able to see it from the outside.
For car windows, we always recommend Car One-Way Vision over any other material. Is designed for use on vehicles, will maintain visibility, is weatherproof, and is applied to the outside of the window so it is unaffected by tinted windows.
