Answer
Backlit prints are designed to catch and distribute light when directly lit from behind. The material is applied to a light box surface or a window, and lighting (a fluorescent light, LED light or the light box itself) should be set up directly behind the print. Lights should be 6 inches away, at most. The print diffuses light evenly, creating a realistic glow and adding radiance to vibrant color shades. This adds more depth to the graphics and allows the design to be visible both night and day.
Signazon.com can produce backlit prints using either Backlit Poster or Backlit Film. Backlit Poster has no adhesive and is best for use within a lightbox, whereas Backlit Film can be adhered to any flat, smooth surface (such as a window) that is lit from behind.
