Answer
Etched Glass Film offers impressive frosted and cut glass effects that are comparable to true cut or sandblasted etched glass. The 7-year, 3 mil calendared PVC film can be applied to any glass or acrylic surface adding decorative design and privacy. Etched Glass Film offers a medium-gloss finish preventing an undesirable reflection and is unaffected by UV light, heat, cold, steam and humidity. The translucent qualities block direct visibility while still allowing light through. Etched glass decals are commonly used to recreate the look of etched lettering and etched glass logos. The film is applied to the outside of the glass. Choose the "Inside Glass" option to place the film on the inside of the window facing out.
Etched Glass Film involves absolutely no printing. Your logo, design, or lettering is cut directly out of the silver translucent film. Standard Etched Glass Film removes all of the background around the design, leaving only the design itself.
The "Frosted Background" option is most-commonly used as privacy film to block visibility in spas, restrooms, glass partitions, office doors and windows. With this option you will receive a full-size frosted film with empty spaces where the design has been cut removed or knocked-out.
