3mm and 6mm PVC Care Instructions

We have taken the time to provide you with recommended care instructions that will assist in the care and storage of your recent purchase.

Whether you have chosen 3mm PVC or 6mm PVC for an oversized check or a display sign, proper care and maintenance is important. Normal, routine wiping of your signs will help prevent the buildup of unwanted “gunk,” and displaying PVC signs indoors ensures that they will last.

Care Instructions:

To prevent dirt buildup, PVC should be routinely wiped down every 2 weeks to 1 month with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth or duster. If the PVC sign requires a deeper cleaning, use a damp, lint-free cloth and gently rub the affected area. Do not use cleaning products.

If you are attempting to clean a PVC sign with the “Dry Erase” option, ammonia-free window cleaner or dry-erase board cleaner can be used.

PVC signs should be stored lying flat with nothing placed on top of them, or they can be stored upright with additional support (like cardboard). Your signs should not be stored leaning as they can warp over time.
